Click on an element once to include it in the search.
Click on an element twice to exclude it from the search. A line through the element indicates it is excluded.
Click on the "Clear All" button to clear all inclusions and exclusions.
Click on the "Exclude Others" button to exclude all elements other than those included.
The above actions are disabled for elements not present in the database (shown in plain white).

Examples

If 'Si' and 'O' are selected, then the search would retrieve all the silicate structures in the database.
If 'Si' and 'O' are selected and if the 'Exclude Others' button is clicked, then only structures of silica polymorphs are retrieved.
If 'Fe' is selected, then the search would retrieve all the structures in the database containing iron.
If 'Fe' is selected and if the 'Exclude Others' button is clicked, then only the structure of native iron is retrieved.
If 'Fe' is selected and if the 'Exclude Others' button is clicked and if 'O' and 'H' are deselected, then all the iron oxides and hydroxides are retrieved.
